In case you thought the “seven deadly sins” were some old-fashioned medieval relic from days gone by, a category that could not possibly apply to the contemporary man or woman, then consider participating in this discussion. Craig Iffland will provide a framework to place the “sins” within the context of our daily lives as a first step in reordering our desires in such a way as to contribute to our own human flourishing. In so doing, Craig identifies the timeless nature of the original definition of the “seven deadly sins” with a path forward.

Craig Iffland is a doctoral candidate, Moral Theology, University of Notre Dame.
